This Week’s Ritual - Persona Writing
Persona writing is writing from a chosen self. You select a voice or a stance, and you commit to it fully for the duration of the practice. Don’t explain it. Don’t justify it. Don’t soften it with irony.
The point is not authenticity. The point is self-absorbed expression.
For this ritual, you are asked to let the persona speak without correction or restraint. Stay inside it. Trust what emerges.
INSTRUCTION
Choose a Persona early. A stance, appetite or state of mind that harbors the origin of who you are now, or who you’d like to be. Make it grandiose. Make it theatrical.
10 minutes. Set a timer. Do not stop early.
Do not backspace. Do not correct tone, taste, or morality. Do not explain what the voice is doing.
Stay inside the persona until the timer ends.
When finished, leave a single mark (✔️) in the comments.
No sharing of completed work in the portal. You may do so anywhere else, if you wish.
The Reward
At the end of the month, what remains will be revealed to those who participated.
You may begin.
